2nd Swing Golf Named to Golf Digest List of 100 Best Clubfitters in America

Both Twin Cities stores owned by Minneapolis-based golf retailer 2nd Swing Golf were named to Golf Digest Magazine's 2013 list of the 100 Best Clubfitters in America on April 3. This is the first time 2nd Swing has been named to the list, which includes only two Minnesota facilities out of more than 1,000 that were eligible nationwide.

"We contacted many industry sources for recommended and honored facilities," said Mike Stachura, senior equipment editor at Golf Digest. "[W]e polled our national panel of more than 1,000 course raters ... and reviewed final nomination forms from more than 300 facilities before we could determine a list."

Not only does 2nd Swing fit golf clubs from the top manufacturers, the company won regional fitter of the year awards in 2012 from clubmakers PING, TaylorMade, Mizuno and Cobra, as well as the 2012 National Fitter of the Year Award from Bettinardi Golf, maker of high-end putters.

During a fitting at 2nd Swing's Minnetonka, Minn., and Minneapolis locations, golfers hit balls down a virtual driving range as 2nd Swing's certified fitters use state-of-the-art software to observe and analyze each shot. Using that data, fitters can educate the golfer about his or her golf game and match them with the precise clubs to improve on-course performance. 2nd Swing has fit more than 2,000 golfers, helping them play better and get more enjoyment out of the game of golf.

2nd Swing continues to expand its clubfitting offerings, which include the PING nFlight Fitting and Performance Center, and the Studio B putter fitting center, the only one of its kind in the Upper Midwest. This year, 2nd Swing is adding a Scotty Cameron putting studio and a TaylorMade fitting center in its Minneapolis location to serve even more customers.
