Bathhouse Park

The Appleton Bathhouse Park features the restored WPA-era bathhouse located at the site of a popular  (circa 1940s) swimming pond formed by a dam on the Pomme De Terre River. Today the park features picnic tables, fire grill and community campfire ring - on the banks of the river. The park is along a trail network that connects the Riverside Park area and the City Campgrounds, both of which are about one block south of the bathhouse. It is located one block north of Riverside Park or the City Campground on West Wilkening Ave.
